The Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce announced that they have opened the nominations for the Triangle Awards at the 2025 Annual Dinner. In those awards, they have announced 6 new categories.
The new categories include:
- Best Boss Ever – The person everyone wants to work for. Nominate the leader who is inspiring, and they lift their team up as they reach new heights.
- Best New Business – This award recognizes a business that opened in the last two years and is crushing year one!
- Party Animal – Work hard, play hard. That’s what this award is all about. They take fun seriously, and integrate it into their workplace culture.
- Best Snack – Nominate your favorite place to get a snack, coffee, or sweet treat.
- Office Mascot – Whether it’s a furry friend or a lively plant- nominate your favorite office cheerleader.
- Intern of the Year – More than just a coffee-runner. The Intern of the Year awards a curious learner that has gone above and beyond this year.
Other categories include:
- Small Business of the Year
- Medium Business of the Year
- Large Business of the Year
- Non-Profit of the Year
- Citizen of the Year
Nominate a Chamber Member or Chamber Member employee by January 9, 2025.
Nominate a Waukee Citizen for Citizen of the Year.
The Annual Dinner will be held at Vibrant Music Hall on Thursday, January 30. The Chamber will talk about the accomplishments of 2024 and will highlight exciting things to come in 2025. Tickets for this event are available at the Waukee Area Chamber website.
