We are beyond excited to announce a new and exciting business now in the Des Moines area, Seniors Helping Seniors.
My father-in-law and co-owner, Mike Caligiuri, and I recognized a need within our community. As the Des Moines area and its surrounding suburbs continue to experience rapid growth and development, we recognize that with this progress comes an important need: providing compassionate companionship and care to our mature and aging citizens, ensuring they remain connected and supported in our thriving community. We have a deep commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of our seniors. Together, we believe in giving back to our community by creating meaningful connections and providing seniors with the support and companionship they deserve. Mike, a proud Des Moines native, and I felt it was our duty to bring Seniors Helping Seniors to this incredible community. For Mike, it’s a way to give back to the city that shaped him, and for me, it’s about honoring the hard work and values of previous generations, ensuring they are passed down to my daughters as we care for and celebrate our aging population. We’re honored to be bringing this vision to life right here in Des Moines!
The name says it ALL! Seniors Helping Seniors connects seniors in need of a little extra help with other seniors seeking flexible and fulfilling work, fostering caring partnerships that enhance well-being for both. We’re thrilled to bring this meaningful service to our community.
What sets us apart is our incredible caregivers—dedicated seniors from our community who bring empathy, life experience, and a genuine passion for connection. In return, clients often feel more comfortable receiving companionship from a fellow senior because they share similar life experiences, values, and perspectives, creating an instant sense of understanding, trust, and connection.
Seniors Helping Seniors is currently in over 30 states serving 1000’s of clients daily and we are proud to have brought it to Des Moines.
