The Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce has opened applications for new board members.
Mission Statement
The purpose of the Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce is as follows:
We are the guide, connector, and cheerleader for the Waukee-area business community. We help local businesses of all sizes become connected so they can thrive with the Waukee community on their side.
Term of Office
Elected Directors will serve a term of three years. All elected Directors’ term of office will begin January 1st unless they are filling the unexpired term of a former board member.
Monthly Board Meeting
Board meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Application Submission Instructions
Applications are due by October 31, 2023, to be considered for terms beginning on January 1, 2024. Completed applications should be submitted, by email, to Zach Elsbecker, chair of the nominating committee at zach.elsbecker@dmymca.org with the subject line “2024 Board Application”.
