The Waukee YP is now accepting 2023 committee member applications for four open positions! If you are interested in getting more involved and connected with young professionals in the Waukee area, this is a fantastic opportunity for you!
Please fill out and submit the application by November 30th at 5:00pm to be considered.
The open positions are:
Secretary
The Secretary is a part of the YP committee leadership and will move into the Vice Chair role the following year. They will work with the Committee Chair to prepare and send out monthly meeting agendas, as well as record complete, accurate notes of each meeting.
Treasurer
The Treasurer will monitor the budget for the Waukee YP group and work closely with Chamber staff on financials for events and memberships.
Social
The Social Chair will help plan all YP events throughout the year. They will work in partnership with the Membership Chair to secure sponsorships for these events. The chair will confirm event details with the Marketing Chairs so they can post events on social media and YP communications. This char will handle event coordination leading up to and day-of events.
Marketing
The Marketing Chair is a co-chair. They will work together with our current Marketing Chair to increase awareness through communications and manages all Waukee YP social media and email marketing in partnership with Chamber Staff. The Marketing Chairs will engage with current and prospective YP members.
